human beings are vulnerable

we face changes
practically every single day and after
or perhaps every ticking second?

there are so many things happening
on the surface
or deep beneath humans' lies

some that we knew it coming
some which caught us unprepared

what can i say?
changes are so common and never-ending
that i'm basically numb to em

i really hope that
things may remain the way they were
or rather, better

but if fate was to let them be they way they are
then let it be

i'll just learn to be adaptive
