donations

walk down the streets of town
look at the christmas decorations
and you will realize christmas is here...
ya admiring and commenting on the
goldish decorations this year..
someone suddenly pops you with
a question
" hi miss, care to make a donation for the bleah bleah bleah? "
if ya someone who don't usually roam the streets of town
maybe you'll just take your wallet out and
do a kind act
but if ya someone who visits town like 4 times a week..
ya either craxy..too kind...or simply too rich..
seriously i'm simply too sick of
facing people who do surveys and force for donations in town
try walking from far east
all the way down to PS...
and hang out at MRts stations...
it's like shit!
i have no idea if it's cux of christmas
that's why those organizations
want people to be charitable
or because doing CIP
and forcing people to make donations
is becoming a trend?
i'm nt saying making a kind donation is wrong
but there are too many people
forcing poor shoppers in town to make donations
they come breathing down your neck
" it's just a $5 donation
tickets, i'm sure you can do your bit "
and the worst strategy is...
if ya with a friend..
and your friend decides to make a donation
they will just automatically tear off
2 $5 coupons saying...."$5 each la"
i thought doing CIP is supposedly
to be volunteery..no..it's by force...
i know that..
but hellO!
don't try to force people to make donations
when they don't feel like it oK!
and this indian or whatsoever auntie
that hangs out at pedestrian crossing
between heeren and cineleisure...
she keeps tugging your shirt and
making you buy tissues...
she's kinda poor thing though..
but i believe many people have gave her money
without taking her tissues...
and we are in town...
orchard road is like the shopping paradise
yet we see people begging for donations...
no...MONEY!
and those idiotic surveyors
i don't know if ya paid...
but i got a feeling maybe you guys aren't
stop harrassing people ok?
and stop tugging people's shirts!
